How to add an event calendar to a Squarespace website:

To display your MyCityScene events on your website, you'll need to create at least one calendar your MyCityScene dashboard and paste it into a "Code Block" on your Squarespace site.

Add the Code Block to your Squarespace site

(Note: Because the calendar uses HTML/iframe code, your Squarespace site must be on a paid plan such as Core, Plus, Business, or Commerce to support third-party code.)

1. Log in to your Squarespace account and open the page where you want the calendar to appear.
2. Click Edit in the top-left corner of the page.
3. Hover over the area where you want the calendar to live, and click Add Block (or the + icon).
4. Select the Code block from the menu.
5. Click the pencil icon on the new Code block to open its editor.
6. Ensure the code type is set to HTML (and make sure the Display Source toggle is turned off).
7. Paste your MyCityScene embed code directly into the text field.
8. Click anywhere outside the block editor, then click Save at the top of your page.

Troubleshooting Tip:
For security reasons, Squarespace sometimes disables embedded scripts while you are logged into the editor. If your calendar looks blank or doesn't seem to be loading on the backend, don't worry! Simply log out of Squarespace or open your live website URL in an "Incognito" or "Private" browser window to see the functioning calendar exactly as your visitors will.
